2014 - Missed Events !

Dear Friends , Sorry to say but missed to note down lot of events during 2014 which was cherishable and memorable. June 2014 - We did a family trip to Mahableshwar for relaxing and enjoying good old times staying at a booked home stay. August 2014 - We had visit by Manoj Thomas and family for two days. We had our School Re-Union which was attended by Santosh Patra , Nilay Singh , P. Venugopal , Sanjay Deb , Sandeep Saha & Padma Priya as we had real fun as all of them stayed at Paddy's house. We did a one day trip to Lonavala visiting all major spots plus dinner at Malaka Spice with Beer ! As, it was am awesome meeting after ages for Venu and Sanjay for sure as rest of us meet in between but rarely. October 2014 - We did our friends group trip to Rutu Farms, Wai were in we stayed for two nights with families of Hrushikesh , Vikram and Siddhu. It was a splendid stay as we enjoyed the food and lot of roaming events around Wai. November 2014 - It was a month of our hard work done for Sandra's First Holy Communion as it was planned six months before. A special Day for Sandra . Lots of Invitees were there - MITL Staff's , Alexander & Fly , Meena Kalyan & Fly, Paddy & Fly, Pawar Uncle & Fly, Our Relatives from Mumbai, Kerela and Coimbatore , Hrushikesh & Fly, Vicky & Fly, Siddhu & Fly , Vipin Thomas & Fly, Bhau Patil Road Church Members , Kaitan & Fly , George & Fly , Richard Uncle & Fly , Vijay George & Fly , Binu Govind & Fly. All in all a beautiful event and got appreciation for food and decorations done for the event.

Updates of Year 2013 and 2014 .....

It seems missed noting few points of my life of last year and this year.... Year 2013 - Major moments to share is as follows: May 2013 - Our family had a outing trip to Harihareshwar Beach as we drove down from Pune - a wonderful trip and enjoyed good time at beach & sea food. Its a beautiful beach with a temple and its steps down to the sea rocks and a good mountain view of the entire sea belt - as had the pleasure to watch the " Sun Rise "... June 2013 - Me and KVV friends ( Sandy. Munnu and Paddy ) travelled to Ordnance Factory Varangaon were all have spent our school days in Kendriya Vidyalaya School through our old friend Santosh Patra staying in OFV Qtrs. Its was also a splendid drive from Pune as first time took a major rick to drive during night time with heavy rains on cards.

Latest Updates - Feb 2013

Its been a long time , not logged and written on the blog. Since had a lot of trips all across India and UK as in January attended Sister Aunty Monica's diamond jubilee for aunty contribution towards the nun service scheduled on 6th January-13 at Bangalore. It was a wonderful function to attend with all dad's relatives coming from all across to attend the big event. During this trip - met Sanjay Deb & Rahul Roy in Bangalore and spent good time. Again , in February traveled to London for an official trip to Milton Keynes - a week's trip with weekend spent roaming in London & Windsor Castle at Slough with Suraj Patil and Umesh Bagul. A splendid trip to cherish all my life as first time travelling across border. As, it was a run around last minute trip with VISA coming on 13th Feb evening and tickets booked late - travelled on same night with Jet, climate at London favored a lot during my stay in UK. After the UK trip , reached back on 21st Feb-13 and had a funeral to attend of Baby Aunty at Calicut due to blood cancer & illness. Started my trip on 26th Feb-13 evening and attended function on 27th Feb-13 at 3 pm in Calicut as all relatives were present. I returned back on 28th Feb-13 morning from Calicut to Pune with Akbar Travels bus for 25 hrs trip - awesome experience to cherish again as my back seat is still feeling the pain. Goa Trip !

August - 2012.

We did a Goa trip after Kaas visit - started by 7 am from Kaas & landed in Goa with approx 360 kms drive all through Nipani & Amboli ghats , it was a pleasure to drive all thorough as weather helped us all through. We been to Old Goa and visited Basilica of Bom Jesus , Church of St. Augustine and some other churches on route - Evening did a cruise drive and Baga beach.

Kaas Trip !

August Month - 2012.

We started our trip by morning 5.30 am from Pune to Kaas, Satara - covering a distance of 181 kms with the weather favoring a lot all during the trip. Firstly to know Kaas - Kaas Plateau and Lake is situated at about 23 kms from Satara and about 133 kms from Pune. The Kas Plateau is situated at the Sahyadri hills near Satara. This plateau is well known for its unique biosphere, high hill plateaus and grasslands. Its located at a height between 1200-1240 m and about 25 km away from Satara town, the Kaas Plateau is Maharashtra’s valley of flowers. The plateau and surrounding hills is awe-inspiring when millions of wild flowers bloom as the monsoon sets in (September/October), attracting a lot of tourists. Visit this plateau during the blooming season and experience the magical charm of nature.

At about approximately 23 kms from Satara city, one can visit the very beautiful and scenic Kaas Plateau. The Plateau is splendid and awesome places to visit where one can enjoy oneself in rains amidst the mystical clouds that feather touch you. You can walk along this long Plateau with your friends and loved ones and enjoy the marvels of the nature. The natural green carpet all around this place lifts ones mood to other world. Every single droplet makes you feel rejuvenated and you can breathe the fresh and refreshing air which lightens your senses. As you go along the Plateau you reach the Kaas Lake. Kaas Lake is a man-made lake and is the main drinking source to the city. The lake is surrounded by lush green trees. During the rainy season Lake becomes a visual treat as the clouds settle on the water giving you the heaven like experience.

Kaas Plateau and Lake are full in blossom after the rainy season in the month of August and September. Varied varieties of flowers with all different colors are in full bloom. This is the indeed the best time for the enthusiastic photographers to grab their cameras and head start out to Kaas. One can capture different flowers here which are indeed incredible to watch, as such this is aptly titled as "Valley of Flowers" .
